 We are seeking an experienced Field Construction Representative to provide oversight for the construction of Rawland tower sites up to 350ft. This role is responsible for monitoring all phases of site development, tower erection, electrical installation, and compound buildout to ensure compliance with project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards. This position does not involve any physical tower work or labor but requires strong field presence and management of subcontractors and construction teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Oversight:

  • Provide on-site field representation for all construction activities related to new Rawland tower builds.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed according to approved construction drawings, project specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate daily with construction crews, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.

Tower & Structural Oversight:

  • Observe and document tower erection activities, ensuring compliance with structural design requirements and applicable codes (e.g., TIA-222).  OSHA Standard 1926 
  • Ensure proper execution of tower foundations, anchor systems, and associated structural elements.

Tower Compound & Site Development:

  • Oversee all aspects of tower compound construction including fencing, access roads, shelter installations, equipment pads, and drainage systems.
  • Ensure proper grading, erosion control, and general site cleanliness throughout the build process.

Electrical Oversight:

  • Monitor the installation of electrical infrastructure including grounding, power feeds, backup power systems, and distribution panels.
  • Confirm all electrical work is performed in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code), local codes, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate utility connections, inspections, and ensure timely energization of the site.

Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety standards including OSHA regulations and company-specific safety protocols.
  • Participate in daily or weekly safety briefings, site inspections, and ensure that all contractors maintain safe work practices.
  • Review and verify that appropriate PPE and safety equipment are in use by all on-site personnel.

Quality Control & Documentation:

  • Perform routine inspections and verifications at each stage of construction to ensure quality workmanship and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely field reports, including photos, progress updates, redlines, and issue tracking.
  • Identify and escalate deviations from scope, delays, or safety concerns to the project team.

Communication & Coordination:

  • Act as the primary field liaison between contractors, engineers, and project managers.
  • Facilitate issue resolution, provide field-level feedback, and support project milestones through clear, consistent communication.
  • Attend construction meetings and contribute to scheduling, planning, and progress reviews.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • The employee may be required to stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, and kneel
  • The employee may be subject to rough terrain and inclement weather
  • The employee may be required to sit or stand for long periods
  • The employee may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds
  • The employee will be required to travel with overnight stays
  • The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions
  • This position may require working more than 40 hours per week
